How it works
- Drop your PDF above. If you only need some pages, delete or reorder the rest first.
- Press Convert to Word and follow the progress page by page.
- The .docx file downloads automatically when it is ready.
How the conversion works
The edited PDF is sent to the Elysium server, which analyses the layout of every page and writes the equivalent Word document. The PDF is deleted as soon as the .docx exists, and the .docx is deleted after 15 minutes.
What to expect
Text, tables, images and basic formatting are kept so you can edit them. Complex designs — several columns, text over images — may need adjustments. Scanned PDFs have no text, so the pages arrive as images.

Frequently asked questions
Can I open the result in Pages?
Yes. Pages opens .docx files directly, and so do Word, Google Docs and LibreOffice.
Does it recognise text in scanned PDFs (OCR)?
Not yet. If the PDF is a scan, the page will be inserted as an image and the tool will tell you.
What are the limits?
Up to 30 MB and 500 pages per PDF, and 10 conversions per hour.
Are my PDF files uploaded?
Not to edit them: merging, reordering, rotating, deleting and extracting pages happen inside your browser and the file never leaves your device. Only “Convert to Word” sends the edited PDF to the Elysium server, which deletes it as soon as the Word file exists.
Is it free?
Yes, with no ads, watermarks; a verified account and an approved free license are required. Word conversion allows 10 documents per hour per visitor so the service stays available.
